Terry the T-Rex Is on Patrol
Meet Terry the T-Rex – the newest and most fearsome member of the Olds Park Sports Club grounds team. Terry has taken on the important role of resident security guard, keeping a watchful eye over our beautiful lawn bowling greens and deterring the local Cockatoos from scratching up the surface.
Anyone who has maintained a lawn bowling green knows that Cockatoos can cause real damage, so it’s great to have Terry standing guard and keeping things in order. We think he’s doing a brilliant job so far!
A Big Thanks to Josh and Phil
Of course, Terry doesn’t work alone. A very special thanks goes out to Josh and Phil, who do a fantastic job caring for our greens day in and day out. Their hard work and dedication keeps our bowling greens in top condition – and they even handle the occasional repairs needed after the Cockatoos have paid a visit.
It’s this kind of commitment behind the scenes that makes Olds Park Sports Club such a great place to play and socialise. We’re lucky to have such a dedicated team looking after our facilities.
